Luxurious & Modern Ships
The vessels in the AmaWaterways fleet are among the best in their class. In fact, their state-of-the-art ships are some of the newest doing river cruises in Europe. There is an Infotainment System in all staterooms, with an available movie and music library and complimentary Internet access. Onboard each ship you'll find bars, lounges (with dance floors and daily entertainment), a Sun Deck, Wellness Center and beauty salon. There is a guaranteed share program available for single travelers (staying in category B only). English is the primary language spoken onboard all of their ships.

Spacious Accommodations
Deluxe staterooms are 170 square feet, with hotel-style beds that can be set up as two twin beds or one large double bed. Junior Suites are extra spacious at 255 square feet.

The cuisine served onboard all of the AmaWaterways ships is excellent. Their gourmet offerings are served in an open seating format,  making for a relaxed atmosphere. Quality wines (included with every dinner) are served with the local, fresh ingredients that make up their food.
What's New for AmaWaterways?
AmaSonata celebrated her inaugural year in 2014. Her follow sister ships, AmaPrima and AmaVida, a 108-passenger ship with accommodations ranging in size up to 323 square feet, debuted in 2013. In 2012, the first of these sister ships: AmaCerto, a 164-passenger vessel that features twin balconies in select accommodations, multiple dining venues, a heated pool, and WiFi access.
New ships were the hallmark of AmaWaterways during 2011. They introduced the luxurious 161-passenger AmaVerde, a sister ship to AmaBella (which debuted during 2010). Both of these ships have staterooms that average 214 square feet, and have many accommodations that have revolutionary double balconies, which are a full balcony plus a French balcony! During the spring of 2011, a completely redesigned AmaKatarina debuted as one of the most luxurious vessels on Russia's Volga-Baltic Waterway. This beautiful vessel offers 10 different stateroom categories, including accommodations up to 432 square feet and 76 balcony staterooms. Another brand new ship, the 124-passenger AmaLotus, is doing 7-night cruises from Siem Reap, Cambodia to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Also new for 2011 for AmaWaterways was a "From the North Sea to the Black Sea" cruise for those that are interested in a grand tour of Europe and "Melodies of the Danube."
