What's New for Silversea Cruises?
In October 2014, Silversea's Silver Galapagos emerged from a month-long dry dock in Panama, completing the second phase of renovations to the all-suite ship. Galapagos's interior was updated to an elegant blue and beige palette that echoes the recently refurbished Silver Discoverer, and all of the ship's suites, corridors, and the Explorer Lounge were completely refurbished. This dry dock concluded Silversea's initial partial refurbishment of Silver Galapagos last year, which brought new amenities, decor, and public spaces onboard.
From March 2014, the 128 guest Silver Discoverer will be sailing all over the Pacific with stops in Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, the South Pacific Isles, Western Russia, Alaska, and even the Pacific Northwest. Guests can expect the same great excursions that make Silverseas Expeditions so interesting and the fine service that makes them one of the highest rated in the world.

Silver Cloud completed a three-week dry dock in 2012, nad had its interior completely updated with fresh new designs. New carpets, wall treatments, and artwork helped to modernize one of the most luxurious ships at sea. Silver Cloud now features The Grill, a sleek new dining concept for Silversea Cruises. Guests can enjoy the open-air seating on the ship while cooking prime meats and seafood on heated volcanic rocks at their table. Suites aboard Silver Cloud were also been upgraded with new bedding and furniture, providing some of the most comfortable accommodations at sea. |
